Assignment #6 Food Lab--Sungrano's Pizza

 You know those restaurants where you walk in the door, and you can sense that every single detail was made with intention and care?  You take a big deep breath through your nose and know with absolute surety that every bite is going to be one that you will discuss with every person you encounter for weeks to come?

This is Sungrano's Pizza.

They boast three different styles of crust.  The Tavern, Woodfire, and NY Style: each lending itself to a completely unique culinary experience.  Typically when I eat pizza at a restaurant I fall hard for one specific style, but not here.  Each pizza crust was perfect in its own way.

Since we were given a private tour due to our fabulous professor's connection with the owner of the restaurant, they were kind enough to fry up a batch of locally made empanadas, one with sausage and cheese and the other with apple cinnamon.  They had a gorgeous crispy exterior and piping hot, flavorful interior.  

This pizza place also sports a stunning array of cocktails and beers.  Unique and locally made are the priorities here as well.  But don't worry if you don't have much familiarity with beers or cocktails, the bartenders are ready to help you make just the right choice.

All and all?

This is exactly the right place for a working lunch, date night or a bite with the family before the big game at WSU!
